IPOB volunteers in Anambra state and Aba, Abia State (24/08/2020).

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has released the lions out of the cage with a clear message of self-defence within the ambit of the law.

Nnamdi Kanu spoke in a live Radio Biafra broadcast on Sunday 23 August, 2020, in such a way and with terms that can be described as raising the red flag, following the unprovoked slaughtering of members of IPOB at Emene in Enugu State, on Sunday, 23 August, 2020, as they peacefully gathered within a fenced Community Secondary school to pray, as widely reported.

A cross section of the IPOB members who are described as the “volunteers” took to the streets of Anambra State and Aba in Abia State, in a peaceful demonstration as a signal, that the lions have been let out of the cage.
