THAI CAVE RESCUE: THE URGENT NEED TO SUPPORT AFRAWOOD ENTERTAINMENT WORLD – Maxwell Nnawuihe (Media Director AEW)

Since the news broke on how some young footballers with their Coach were trapped in a flooded cave in the Northern Thailand, I’ve not been interested to write about it until now.

What gripped my attention rapturously in the report was the concerted and legendary efforts put together by a coalition of international rescue team without factionalism in making this once termed “mission impossible” becomes what they now termed “miracle, science or what?” according to Thai Navy Seal.

After their rescue following a perilous operations, many World Leaders including the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump and the British PM, Theressa May commented and there was global jubilation.

Only 13 people (sports boys and their coach), were trapped in Northern Thailand’s Cave and the World’s attention was brought to the Cave and rapid actions were taken professionally for their rescue today, after 17 days!

They were invited to the Old Trafford by Man United football Club. Essentially, they were to exhibit their talents and potentials in the world of entertainment/football before the unfortunate incident took place.

There was an international coalition of professional divers and rescue team. British Cave Rescue Counsel was actively involved or rather, in the forefront of this international rescue operation that was successfully concluded today in Northern Thailand.

As Ambulances drove the rescued boys to the hospital in Chiang Rai, there were hundreds, if not thousands of people along the way, cheering and giving them a heroic welcome.

But thousands have died and are still being ruthlessly murdered by Fulani Herdsmen and Boko Haram in Nigeria, yet, the world is silent and passive about it.

It appears Britain is having fun, glorying in the ceaseless bloodbath going on in its pet project, Nigeria. But was quick and neckbent in ensuring the rescue of the 13 people trapped in the Thai Cave without delays. How hypocritical it is on the part of the British Govt., a glaring contrast of double-standard.

Nigeria’s economy is in comatose and limbo, perennial hardship and decay, rots and poverty in all front are the most of stories and realities in Nigeria, yet the world is apparently silent.

What does that imply? Nigeria is a zoo?

The wellbeing of the people in this part of the world doesn’t matter in the conscience and thoughts of the international community.

Suffice it to say, Nigerians are regarded or treated as animals by international community vis-à-vis its approaches in living up to its responsibilities as enshrined in its documents when it comes to “Nigerian or Biafran issues”.

It is apparent that lives of Nigerians and Biafrans doesn’t count were others are counted in the comity of Nations.

What that matters to them are the natural resources that flows constantly from here to them through different subterranean conduits, tunnels or tubes, all through glaring fraudulent means.

To those who care to listen, if you’re waiting for them to savage the carnage, free you from the bondage of this feudalistic system in Nigeria, stop the wastage of human lives being witnessed on regular basis in Nigeria, your eyes will have bags under them and your hairs turns white as you wait for them in vain to your utter bewilderment and consternation.

Fight and rescue yourselves as a people just like Thai people fought to rescue these boys from the cave.

Many great talents and potentials of Biafrans have been trapped in different horrible, flooded and dangerous caves in this part of the world.

We can’t afford to allow our talented men and women die with their talents and ingenuity in the caves of Nigerian and Blacks-slave-mentality and conformity.

AFRAWOOD is a soubriquet that is more native to Biafra and we’re not driven by competition but by vision and mission to rescue entrapped talents and potentials of Biafrans and bring them to the limelight and accomplishment.

We are focused, following and using every ethical procedure and instrument to redefine entertainment.

There may be the floating of pirated brands or should I say, pirated idea of AFRAWOOD in the future. But the original will always outlive any copyright and our vision and mission to lead talented Biafrans to greatness in the entertainment industry shall remain unassailable.

I therefore urge Biafran journalists, media platforms, Radio and Television houses, individuals and lovers of freedom all over the world to stand up and be counted as we work towards rescuing the entrapped Biafran talents and potentials from this cave of obscurity, hopelessness and idleness.

It has been termed “mission impossible” for AFRAWOOD ENTERTAINMENT WORLD (AEW) to rescue trapped talents and potentials of millions of Biafrans in paticular and lovers of freedom in general, by those who can not comprehend and appreciate the power of resoluteness towards achieving a massive and collective vision. But by the time the “boys” (talented Biafrans) are out of the Caves that have kept them behind their dreams, aspirations and destiny, the world shall be proud of and talk about them. They shall make Biafra proud and receive heroic salute in the international platforms and those who question our abilities and strategies, or who are passive to support AFRAWOOD ENTRRTAINMENT WORLD (AEW) now, shall ask, “is this a miracle or just an entertainment industry”.
