SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY SUNDAY 13 MAY 2018

KJV: Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
NLT: A psalm of David. Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
BBE: A Psalm. Of David; Lord, who may have a resting-place in your tent, a living-place on your holy hill?

KJV: He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
NLT: Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
BBE: He who goes on his way uprightly, doing righteousness, and saying what is true in his heart;

KJV: He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
NLT: Those who refuse to slander others or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
BBE: Whose tongue is not false, who does no evil to his friend, and does not take away the good name of his neighbour;

KJV: In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
NLT: Those who despise persistent sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord and keep their promises even when it hurts.
BBE: Who gives honour to those who have the fear of the Lord, turning away from him who has not the Lord’s approval. He who takes an oath against himself, and makes no change.

KJV: He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
NLT: Those who do not charge interest on the money they lend, and who refuse to accept bribes to testify against the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.
BBE: He who does not put out his money at interest, or for payment give false decisions against men who have done no wrong. He who does these things will never be moved.
