SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY TUESDAY 1 MAY 2018

KJV: Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
NLT: A psalm of David. Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
NIV: LORD, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain?

KJV: He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
NLT: Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
NIV: The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;

KJV: He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
NLT: Those who refuse to slander others or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
NIV: whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others;

KJV: In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
NLT: Those who despise persistent sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the Lord and keep their promises even when it hurts.
NIV: who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the LORD; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind;

KJV: He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
NLT: Those who do not charge interest on the money they lend, and who refuse to accept bribes to testify against the innocent. Such people will stand firm forever.
NIV: who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
