Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, has declared that Biafra is not realistic based on his experience as an Igbo man and an ex-Biafran soldier.
Agbakoba also stated Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Independent people of Biafra (IPOB) was going about his agitation wrongly.
”The problem of Nigeria is marginalisation…exclusion. Some are chopping, others are not. There are about 65 million unemployed youths in the country.
“If I was president, I will speak with negotiate Nnamdi Kanu and offer him deals. I will not glorify him but I will tell him that he is wrong with his approach”, he told Sahara TV.
The former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) further lambasted Southeast leaders.
“Of all the leaders in Nigeria, those from southeast are the worst. They only know money, money. They cry of marginalisation under Buhari, but when Jonathan was there, what did they do?
“They ignored the people and left a gap; this is what Nnamdi Kanu is using as an opportunity. He was able to catch the attention of the neglected people of the region”.
The renowned lawyer, however, said he was opposed to IPOB call for boycott of the November 18 Anambra governorship election.
