Vegas shooter’s girlfriend is met by FBI as she returns to the US in a wheelchair after police reveal she IS a person of interest

The girlfriend of Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock (bottom inset) was met by federal investigators when she returned to the US from the Philippines on Tuesday night.

Marilou Danley (top inset), who authorities described as a ‘person of interest’, touched down at LAX just after 7pm and was seen being wheeled through the airport in a wheelchair (main).

A police official revealed she voluntarily returned to the US in a bid to ‘clear her name’ of any involvement in the massacre that saw Paddock kill 59 people, including himself, and injure 527 more. Danley’s sisters have since broken their silence insisting she was unaware of Paddock’s motives, while her brother says she told him she has a ‘clean conscience’.

It comes hours after police released terrifying bodycam footage that shows Las Vegas cops racing towards Paddock’s sniper nest at Mandalay Bay as he fired at concert-goers below. Photos have also recently emerged of Paddock in Manila in 2013 with Danley (believed to be pictured on right in purple top).
