Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel

It is not a new thing in Nigeria that men of God like Bishop David Oyedepo would speak out in support of the unity of Nigeria, irrespective of other voices clamoring for peaceful separation from Nigeria.

trackingtimes.com learnt that some months ago Oyedepo called for the break up of Nigeria “if that is how God wants it” in a voilent prayer led by him over the attacks of Boko Haram insurgents, which reportedly affected one of his Church branches in the Northern part of Nigeria. Now he says “Nigeria will not breakup in spite of its present challenges”.

He said this in a satellite telecast of the church’s prayer session on Monday during the Church’s breakfast prayer for the country. Oyedepo said his declaration was made known to him through divine
revelation in 1979 while praying for the well-being of the country.

“The good news is that Nigeria will rise again to glory,” he assured.

The Bishop led members in prayer for peace and prosperity of the country.

Prayers
were also made for God to intervene and direct the government to make
policies that would be to the benefit of the people and the country.

“Nigeria
shall not see war; God will visit eternal silence on every religious
bigot being used to cause war; there will be no bloodshed in the
country.

“Let Nigeria know peace; make this our independence gift; let every religious manipulator be stopped today.

“We shall not see war in this country again.

“God has given us peace today for the economic and industrial revolution of Nigeria as a great nation.

“No agent of the devil will cause problems (for this country).”

Now the question is, Do God contradict Himself? Or is it inconsistency on the part of the cleric?

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka in firm handshake with Pre BUHARI

Clergy men like Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka had said “Muhammadu Buhari is the messiah God has sent to deliver Nigeria out of the failures of Jonathan. BUHARI will end Book Haram insurgency and rescue the chibok girls” etc. But some months ago he turned around and said “President Buhari may not complete his work. I’m hearing a cry like rain in Aso Rock”.

Have we heard “the cry” in Aso Rock, about to, or has it been aborted? I think Rev Mbaka should give us an update on that.

Men of God should really speak the truth at all times for that is what they represent.
