Psalms 93:1-5

KJV: The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

NIV: The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.

NLT: The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty. Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken.

KJV: Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

NIV: Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

NLT: Your throne, O Lord, has been established from time immemorial. You yourself are from the everlasting past.

KJV: The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

NIV: The seas have lifted up, LORD, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.

NLT: The mighty oceans have roared, O Lord. The mighty oceans roar like thunder; the mighty oceans roar as they pound the shore.

KJV: The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

NIV: Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea — the LORD on high is mighty.

NLT: But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore— the Lord above is mightier than these!

KJV: Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

NIV: Your statutes, LORD, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.

NLT: Your royal decrees cannot be changed. The nature of your reign, O Lord, is holiness forever.
